QUANTITY SURVEYOR
Key Responsibilities:
• Preparing tenders, analysing, selecting appropriate subcontractors, negotiating & finalising subcontractor orders, financial & commercial management of subcontractors to final account completion.
• Lead pre-appointment subcontractor meeting to ensure scope is clearly defined & appoint subcontractor in line with subcontract terms and with any flow downs from the main contract to mitigate any contractual risk
• Procurement: Oversee the procurement process to ensure cost-effective purchasing of materials and services.
• Tendering: Prepare and manage the tendering process for various projects.
• Evaluations: Conduct thorough evaluations of project costs and budgets.
• Variations: Manage and evaluate variations to contracts and projects.
• Undertake contract administration, including change management and maintenance of associated registers (e.g. Change Order Log)
• Maintain a productive relationship with all the Design team professionals and Client representatives throughout the project
Skills & Requirements:
• Relevant third-level qualification essential – Quantity Surveying / Engineering.
• Demonstrates a knowledge and understanding of the various forms of contract used in the construction industry
• Experience in report writing, forecast planning and engaging with clients and senior leaders
• Strong analytical and numerical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work autonomously and take full responsibility for project outcomes.
MECHANICAL/ELECTRICAL QUANTITY SURVEYOR

Skills & Requirements
• Third-level Electrical/Sustainable/Mechanical/Project Management qualification or Trade Qualification looking to move into a management role. Due consideration to construction project management experience will be given
• Strong technical ability and understanding of Mechanical / Electrical services essential.
• Ability to work both individually and as part of a multi-functional team.
• Excellent Analytical & IT Skills essential.
• Excellent communication and organisation skills essential
• Experience in management of suppliers and sub-contractors.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work well under strict deadlines is essential.
• Good understanding of construction contracts & methods of measurement.
ELECTRICIAN
Key Responsibilities:
• Understanding and applying the electrical principles associated with the building, installation and maintenance of electrical equipment and systems.
• Electrical installation work includes but is not limited to: Cable Containment, Cable Pulling, Glanding, Terminating, Earthing, Light and Power Systems/Data/Fire & Security.
• Ensure compliance with relevant Health and Safety practices and all applicable legislation to encourage and maintain a zero-harm environment and culture.
• Ensure that buildings are tested to the required standards where necessary – under supervision.
• To support supplementary process-based tasks where required, that may not be directly electrical related.
• Making decisions based on technical drawings and documents.
• Mark out containment routes/chases etc. to allow other trades to interact.
Skills & Requirements:
• FETAC Level 6 Advanced Certificate: Craft Electrical
• Safe Pass
• City & Guilds 2395 Inspection, Testing and Certification, Qualified Certifier (QC) or willing to work towards.
• Full Irish driving licence
• Good organisation & planning skills
• Experience of working in a client-facing role
• Good time management
